Residencial Miranda is a small complez of two and three bedroom villas, as well as quad houses, set around a communal pool, in the new residential area of Lo Crispin in Southern Costa Blanca.
The small town of Quesada is a short drive away and has everything a visitor may need including several mini-supermarkets, a chemist, five banks, a hardware store, an insurance broker, a news agent, a computer shop, and even an English Butcher. A little further, a field the towns of Rojales, Beniofar and Guardamar are waiting to be explored.
Despite its intimate appeal, the town boasts a wide variety of restaurants. As well as loval food you can choose from tradtional Chinese, Indian, French and German cooking, with the Don Carlos Pub and Restaurant completing the picture and forming the hub of Quesada's social life.
There are also a number of excellent golf courses within easy reach of the development, including Las Ramblas, Campoamor, Villamartin and La Marquesa Golf Club, and the beautiful beaches of Torrevieja and Guardamar are situated just a 15 minute drive away.
For the family a trip to the Torrevieja Park of Nations (known as the Dragon Park) is a popular attraction as wll as the water park open for the children with a life size dragon slide, a train ride and a beautiful lake with swan pedalloes.
The Ozone Leisure Complex can be found in Torrevieja and is also popular with both children and adults. The complex boasts restaurants and bars, as well as an IMF Cinema, KFC, and a bowling alley and amusement arcade. Dirung the simmer months there are also outside trampolines and bouncy castles for the children, with Burger King and MacDonald's close by.
It is difficult to believe that 200 years ago there was only an old watch tower and a couple of houses in Torrevieja. The salt flats behind the town have led to its rapid development, as well as that of the busy port, and today Torrevieja is the biggest producer of salt in Europe.
Other than salt, tourism is the other big business in Torrevieja and people flock there every year to soak up the sun on the gorgeous beaches.
The salt water lakes absorb water from the atmosphere and create a special microclimate which is widely regarded as beneficial for sufferers of rheumatism, asthma, brinchitis and other respiratory problems.
